OQ Chemicals announced that due to supply and demand, the company will increase prices for certain Oxo Intermediate products produced by OQ Chemicals at its Bay City, Texas, facility. The price increase becomes effective February 1, 2025, or as contracts allow.
In North America and Mexico, n-propanol will increase $0.07/lb. In South America and the rest of the world, n-propanol will increase $150/mt. In Europe, n-propanol will increase €150/mt. In North America and Mexico, n-propyl acetate will increase $0.04/lb. In South America and the rest of the world, n-propyl acetate will increase $90/mt. In Europe, n-propyl acetate will increase €90/mt.
